Halloween
About an hour before we were supposed to start trick-or-treating, I still didn't have a costume.
사탕 받으러 나가기로 한 1시간 전까지도, 여전히 나는 의상이 없었다.
At that point I was seriously thinking about going as a cowboy for the second year in a row
그 때 나는 2년 연속 카우보이 차림으로 나갈지 진지하게 고민했다.
But then Mom knocked at my door and handed me a pirate costume, with an eye patch and a hook and everything.
그러나 그 때 엄마가 내 방을 노크하더니 안대, 갈고리 등 해적 의상의 모든 것을 건네주셨다.
Rowley showed up around 6:30 wearing his knight costume, but it didn't look ANYTHING like it looked yesterday.
라일리가 기사 의상을 입고 6시 3-분에 나타났지만 어제 입었던 것이랑 완전 달라 보였다.
Rowley's mom made all these safety improvements to it, and you couldn't even tell what he was supposed to be any more.
라일리의 엄마가 그모든 안전 장비를 해주신 건데, 애초에 어떤 차림을 하려는 건지 알 수가 없었다.
